Spring 2017

March 2017

Our annual Easter Egg competition was a great success again with fantastic entries from everyone. Well done to all the winners – judging was very difficult. Visit the Easter Gallery for pictures.

Autumn 2016

We collected 70 shoeboxes for Samaritans Purse and £208 for Children in Need. Thank you.

Thanks to your generosity, £347.42 was collected for the Royal British Legion Poppy Appeal.

We were delighted to welcome WPC Hedley and PC Wilkinson to school this term, to present the citizenship awards. Well done to our winners!

November 2015

A Massive congratulations to Mr Wilson and the football team who have performed so well this season they have won the League!  We are very proud of you.


Today the children from East Boldon Junior School will join with Helen Gibson Nursery to enjoy a Boot Camp for Children in Need.

This week the school held a very successful Book Fair. Thank you for supporting this and promoting a love of reading in our children. The profits from the book fair will add more books to our class libraries.

September 2015

Unfortunately, due to the weather and waterlogged pitch at Westoe Rugby Club, the Y3 tournament has been postponed. This has been rescheduled to take place on 5th November.

Well done to everyone! The school has achieved the Sports and Games Mark for the second year!

Welcome to Mrs Diane Grant who is joining us as Deputy Head Teacher and will be class teacher to Class 6.

A big HELLO to all of our new year 3 children!  We hope you have a happy and successful time in East Boldon Junior School.

This year a weekly assembly will be led by Father Raymond Dick. We look forward to him joining our school community.

An exciting new music project is planned for year 5. They will use technology to learn about music and will become the school’s first ipad orchestra!
